Turning the classic Khakra into a filling sandiwch!
KHAKRA SANDWICH
Ingredients
3 khakras
1 medium onion chopped
½ cucumber chopped
½ tomato chopped
½ beetroot boiled and chopped
1 tablespoon hung yogurt
1 teaspoon mixed herbs
1 teaspoon chilli flakes
1 teaspoon chaat masala
Green chutney as required
Barik sev as required
Schezwan sauce as required
1 cup boiled corn kernels
Chaat masala to sprinkle
Mayo sauce as required
Tomato chutney
Sev
Tomato
Capsicum
Boiled beetroot
Oregano chilli flakes
Hung yogurt
Chaat masala
Green chutney
Boiled corn
Cucumber
Schezwan chutney
Cheese
Pomegranate
Method
1. In a bowl add 1 medium onion chopped, ½ cucumber chopped, ½ tomato chopped, ½ beetroot boiled and chopped, 1 tbsp hung yogurt. Add 1 tsp mixed herbs 1 tsp, 1 tsp chilli flakes, 1 tsp chaat masala. mix well.
2. on a worktop, place a khakra and add 4 spoonful of mixture and spread it completely. drizzle green chutney as required, Add barik sev as required, place another khakra on top.add schezwan sauce, boiled corn kernels, chaat masala sprinkle, add mayo sauce as required ,corn kernels, green chutney, tomato chutney , add sev. Grate and add cheese, place another khakra, drizzle mayo sauce, drizzle tomato chutney, green chutney, add pomegranate pearls, sev.
3. Serve with finger fries.
