A delicious chutney made with mutton mixed with spices, perfect to go along with the humble dal rice.
GOSHT KI CHUTNEY
Ingredients
750 grams boneless mutton, cut into 2 inch pieces
Salt to taste
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 green chillies
1 tbsp Tata Sampann Meat Masala
½ tbsp red chilli powder
¼ cup oil
Rotis to serve
Method
1. In a pressure cooker, add mutton, salt, ginger-garlic paste, slit green chillies and add them into the cooker.
2. Add sufficient water and place the lid on. Switch the heat on and cook till 7-8 whistles are released.
3. Open the lid once the pressure is released completely. Transfer the mutton pieces into a bowl and shred them using a fork.
4. In the same bowl, add Tata Sampann Meat Masala, adjust seasoning and red chilli powder. Mix well.
5. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add the mutton and mix well. Cook for 7-8 minutes or till the mutton pieces are slightly crisp. Sautéing occasionally.
6. Serve hot with rotis or store in air tight container.
