Fresh cut fruits and creamy custard, this combination is surely going to satisfy your sweet tooth. Do try !
FRUIT CUSTARD
Ingredients
1 banana, peeled
1 medium pear
1 medium apple
2 tbsps custard powder
1 cup milk
1 tsp butter
¼ cup + 1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsps mixed fruit jam
3 tbsps fresh pomegranate pearls + for garnishing
Method
1. Finely chop banana and pear.
2. Take custard powder in a bowl. Add milk and mix well.
3. Heat a non-stick pan. Pour the custard mixture in it and cook, stirring once a while, till it thickens.
4. Finely chop apple.
5. Heat butter in another non-stick pan.
6. Add ¼ cup sugar to custard mixture, mix well and cook till the sugar melts. Switch off heat and mix till smooth.
7. Add chopped apple, pear and banana to the butter and saute. Add 1 tbsp sugar, mix and saute till soft.
8. Add sautéed fruits to the custard and mix well.
9. Heat jam in another non-stick pan. Add little water, mix and cook till it melts.
10. Add 3 tbsps pomegranate pearls to the jam and mix well.
11. Divide the jam-pomegranate mixture into individual Martini glasses. Top with the fruit custard, garnish with pomegranate pearls and serve immediately or chilled.
