This sinful jar is loaded with chocolate coated rice crispies, cake and chocolate cream for a delicious delight after a wonderful dinner.

DARK CHOCOLATE CAKE IN A JAR

Ingredients

800 gms chopped dark chocolate
4 cups hot cream
1 cup rice crispy
4 cups whipped cream
4 readymade chocolate sponges
Chopped hazelnuts as required
Red cherries for garnish

Method

1. Take dark chocolate in a bowl. Add hot cream and mix well till the chocolate is completely melted.
2. Transfer half of the melted chocolate mixture in a pouring jar.
3. Add rice crispy in the remaining chocolate mixture. Mix well.
4. Transfer the pouring jar chocolate mixture in a bowl. Add whipped cream and mix well. Transfer the mixture in a piping bag.
5. Cut out medium sized roundels from chocolate sponges with a cookie cutter.
6. Arrange the layers of cake in jar in the following sequence: cake roundel, chocolate and rice crispy mixture, hazelnuts, chocolate and whipped cream mixture, cake roundel, chocolate and rice crispy mixture, hazelnuts, chocolate and whipped cream mixture, cake roundel, chocolate and rice crispy mixture, hazelnuts, chocolate and whipped cream mixture.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with red cherries.
