Ingerdients:
chicken 1 kg
Fried onions 3 medium
yogurt 1/2 cup
National Ginger & Garlic Paste 3 tsp
National coriander powder 3 tsp
National red chilli powder 1 tsp
National turmeric 1/2 tsp
National salt 1 tsp
National oil or Ghee 1 cup
National Korma Masala
For Garnishing:
kewra water 1 tsp
Fresh ginger 1 inch piece (Julian cut)
Recipe:
In a bowl add chicken, National Korma masala powder, yogurt 1/2 cup mix well and leave it for 30 minutes.
in a blender add the fried onion, yogurt 1/2 cup and grind till smooth.
heat oil or ghee add bay leaves, National ginger & garlic paste and fry for 1 to 2 minutes on high flame.
now add the marinated chicken,National coriander powder, National salt,National red chilli powder,National turmeric mix well and fry the chicken in this masala for 4 minutes, on high flame.
then add 1 cup of water, wait for a boil on high flame and then cover and cook on low to medium flame till the chicken is tender and oil comes on surface.
now add the mixture of fried onions and yogurt, water 1 cup and mix well, cook on high flame for 4 to 5 minutes.
now add the kewra water, ginger mix and simmer for a few minutes.
