Colocasia deep fried till scrip and topped with spicy masala makes the perfect snack for you!

Ingredients
500 grams colocasia (arbi), washed
2 tsps coriander seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
4 dried red chillies
2 dried mango pieces, broken
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Method
1. Heat sufficient water in a deep pan, add colocasia and boil till they are soft. Allow to cool slightly, peel and set aside.
2. Heat a non-stick shallow pan, add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, dried red chillies and dried mango pieces and dry roast till fragrant. Take the pan off the heat.
3. Transfer the dry roasted mixture into a spice grinder and grind to a fine powder, set aside.
4. Take the peeled colocasia, prick each all over with a fork. Sprinkle salt and toss well.
5. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, take each piece of colocasia, flatten them in between your palms and drop them in the hot oil. Deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
6. Sprinkle the prepared spice mix and toss well. Serve hot.
