Directions

Step 1

Peel and dice the bottle gourd into small cubes. Set aside.

Heat mustard oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add the garlic paste and stir for a minute until fragrant.

Add the shrimp, turmeric, and salt. Cook until the shrimp turns pink.

Add the diced bottle gourd and mustard paste. Mix well and cover the pan. Let it cook for 15 minutes.

Step 7

Uncover, add green chilies, and cook until the gourd is soft and the mixture is dry. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
