
- Gulkand Firni (Gulaabi Firni)
- Recipe :
- 1 lit Milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup Condensed Milk
- 1/2 cup rice (soaked in water for 1/2 hr then crushed then boil)
- 1 tbsp Gulkand
- 1/2 cup Crushed nuts (cashew, Almond, pistachios,Coconut)
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder ( or 10-12 whole)
- 1 tbsp Kehwrha essence
- Red food color/1 tbsp rooh afza
- Silver paper
- #italia Cherries for garnish
- Method :
- First boil the milk then flame turn to low.
- Add cardamom powder n condensed milk
- Cook in low flame.stir contineously.
- add nuts and gulkand.
- boil the crushed rice in another pan.when it become soft n like a thick paste add it on milk.
- Stirr contineously .
- When milk become thickend add kehwrha essence and food color/rooh afza.
- Mix well and dish out .
- Garnish with silver paper , crushed nuts, cherries and from some rose petals.
- Now gulkand firni is ready to eat.
