Dough Ingredients:
Plain Flour 2 Cups
National Salt 1/2 tsp
Ajwain 1/4 tsp
Ghee 1 tbsp
Water as you Required
Filling Ingredients:
Peas 1 Cup (Boiled)
Potato 1 (Boiled and Mashed)
Button Red Chilli 1 tsp (Crushed)
National Cumin 1 tsp
Green Chilli 2
National Salt 1/2 tsp
National Garam Masala Powder 1/2 tsp
Green Coriander 1 tsp
Pomogranate Seeds Powder 1 tsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Other Ingredients:
Plain Flour 1+1/2 tbsp
Ghee 2 tbsp
Direction:
Step 1: Take a bowl add plain flour and add Ajwain, National Salt, Ghee and mix it well and then knead it with water as you required and then cover it and rest it for 20 minutes.
Step 2: Take a pan and add oil 1 tbsp and add National Cumin and slightly fry it and then add boiled peas and potatoes and add National salt, Button Red Chilli, Pomogranate Seeds Powder and mix it well and then add Green Chilli, Green Coriander, National Garam Masala Powder and mix it well on low flame. Your filling is ready.
Step 3: Take a bowl add Plain Flour 1+1/2 tbsp, Ghee 2 tbsp and mix it well. Your paste is ready for spreading on kachori dough.
Step 4: Make ball of dough and take a ball and dust dry flour on kitchen slab and press it and spread (Step 3) paste and then dust dry flour and fold it from both side (Watch Video for Proper Understanding) and Press it and put 2 tbsp filling and fold from the edges.
Step 5: When all kachori is ready then fry it for 15 minutes on medium to low flame. (Your oil should be slightly heat, not too) After that your Matar Kachori is ready.
