Creamy dessert made with rich ingredients like mangoes, nuts, cardamoms and coconuts
MANGO SHIKARAN
Ingredients
2 medium badami mangoes
A large pinch of green cardamom powder
2 tbsps jaggery powder
½ cup coconut milk
Slivered almonds for garnish
Slivered pistachios for garnish
Hot puris to serve
Method
1. Trim the top of the mango, slice in half avoiding the pit. Cut around the edges of the pit.
2. Make horizontal cross cuts, scoop out the flesh using a spoon. Transfer into a bowl.
3. Mash the mango using a fork till soft. Add a pinch of green cardamom powder, jaggery powder and coconut milk. Mix well.
4. Transfer into serving bowl, sprinkle slivered almonds and pistachios. Serve with hot puris.
