Jefferson Rueda is a renowned Brazilian chef known for his innovative approach to traditional Brazilian cuisine. Born in the city of Itapetininga, located in the state of São Paulo, in 1979, Rueda has always had a passion for cooking, inspired by his family’s traditional cooking techniques.

After finishing high school, Rueda enrolled in a culinary school in São Paulo, where he learned the fundamentals of cooking. After graduation, he started working in some of the most prestigious restaurants in Brazil, such as Fasano and DOM, where he refined his skills and developed his own culinary style.

In 2006, Rueda opened his own restaurant, called Attimo, in São Paulo, which quickly gained recognition and praise from both diners and critics alike. The restaurant’s menu featured a mix of traditional Brazilian dishes with a modern twist, incorporating local ingredients and flavors.

In 2014, Rueda and his wife, Janaina Rueda, opened another restaurant called A Casa do Porco in São Paulo, which focused on pork-based dishes and elevated traditional Brazilian street food. The restaurant became an instant success, receiving numerous awards and accolades, including being named the best restaurant in Brazil by the prestigious Brazilian edition of the “50 Best Restaurants” list.
