Me and Tesco are back celebrating Veg, so I’ve created three recipes that show you how to get the best out of these British grown Spring Greens, which are bang in season right now and on Tesco Clubcard prices. From a stupidly quick noodle dish to a delicious curry, give these a go.

  2. Thank you Tesco & Jamie Oliver for bringing to families budget & nutritious recipes!
Specially nowadays when many families in UK are struggling to put food on the table.
Well done for the initiative! πŸ™

  3. I made the first 2… The noodle dish was great, the butternut curry… by putting a tin of chickpeas with juice, a tin of tomatoes and a can of water, it made it so watery that after 15mins of simmering it still looked like a soup

  7. What would world be with the fabulous flavors of Asian gastronomies? The Western world lacks the imagination and the know how of Asian cooking. When I say Asian, I mean the entire Asian continent from wonderful India, Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, South Korea, China to the wonderful food and flavors of Lebanon, Palestine, Turkey and Iran. I discovered from the food historians Valentina Harris and Luca Gavoni β€˜Mangiamo Arabo senza Saperlo’ ( we eat Arabic food without knowing it) that The Arabs brought pasta, rice, pizza, focaccia, artichokes, spinach, spices, sorbet, citrus products and pesto to our European continent.. when some of our European countries were part of the Arab empire, and here we are thinking it’s mostly Italian.
