INGREDIENTS:

1 or 1/2 cup black beans (drained and rinsed very well)

1/2 cup quick oats

1/2 tsp baking powder

2 tbsp cacao powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup coconut oil

2 tsp pure vanilla extract

1/3 cup chocolate chips, plus more for topping

METHOD:

Preheat oven to 175 C. Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips in a good food processor and blend completely until smooth. Really blend well. Stir in the chips, then pour into a well-greased pan. Cook brownies 15 to 18 minutes. Let cool at least 10 minutes before slicing them into squares and serve.
