Yuzu Shiso Tofu Karaage is a delightful twist on the classic Japanese karaage, offering a refreshing and zesty flavor profile. Originating from Japan, this dish combines the crispy, golden exterior of fried tofu with the aromatic and citrusy notes of yuzu and shiso leaves. The tofu is marinated in a tangy yuzu soy sauce mixture, then coated with a light cornstarch batter for a perfect crunch. The dish is garnished with fresh shiso leaves, adding a unique savory and minty touch that balances the acidity of the yuzu. Loved for its umami-rich taste and contrasting textures, Yuzu Shiso Tofu Karaage is an irresistible treat, whether served as an appetizer or a main course.
