Directions

Step 1

Clean the kachki fish thoroughly under running water and set aside.

Grind the mustard seeds into a fine paste using a little water.

Step 3

Heat mustard oil in a pan and add chopped onions and garlic. Sauté until golden brown.

Add the mustard paste, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.

Add the cleaned kachki fish to the pan.

Stir well to coat the fish with the spice mixture.

Cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves and green chilies before serving.
