Directions

Step 1

Wash and dry the bhindi. Trim the ends and cut into 1-inch pieces.

Step 2

Heat mustard oil in a pan. Add sliced onion and fry until golden brown.

Step 3

Add garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for 2 minutes.

Step 4

Add mustard paste, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for another 3 minutes.

Step 5

Add bhindi to the pan. Stir well to coat with spices. Cook for 10 minutes.

Step 6

Add water and cover the pan. Simmer on low heat until bhindi is tender.

Step 7

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
