Directions

Step 1

Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.

Cut tofu into cubes. Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu until golden brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, add ginger, miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. Stir well to create a sauce.

Add the fried tofu back to the pan.

Stir to coat tofu with the sauce evenly.

Chop shiso leaves and green onions. Add to the pan and mix gently.
