Directions

Step 1

Soak saffron in warm water and set aside. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden.

Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.

Add tomatoes and cook until soft.

Add chicken pieces and cook until they turn white, about 5 minutes.

Mix in yogurt, coriander powder, cumin powder, and red chili powder. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Pour in the saffron water, add kasuri methi, and stir well. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

Step 7

Check seasoning, add salt to taste, and cook until chicken is tender and the gravy thickens. Serve hot.
