Directions

Step 1

Heat oil in a large pot and add sliced onions. Cook until golden brown, then add ginger and garlic. Stir well to release their aroma and flavor.

Add beef pieces and cook until browned on all sides. Mix in tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and cumin. Stir and allow the mixture to cook until the tomatoes soften and the spices blend well.

Pour in water, cover the pot, and let the beef cook on medium heat until it becomes tender and fully cooked. This step helps develop a rich broth.
