Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Form into 1–2 inch meatballs.

Step 2

Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake 15–20 minutes until cooked through.

Step 3

While meatballs bake, heat olive oil in a skillet and simmer tomato sauce for 10 minutes. Add baked meatballs to the sauce and simmer another 5 minutes.

Step 4

Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and serve topped with meatballs and sauce. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
