Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.

Step 2

In a skillet, cook ground beef with chopped onion and garlic until browned. Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 3

In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with egg.

Step 4

Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in the bottom of a baking dish

Step 5

Layer noodles, ricotta mixture, meat sauce, and mozzarella

Step 6

Repeat layers, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top

Step 7

Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly. Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
