Directions

Step 1

Marinate the chicken with yogurt, garlic, ginger, saffron, coriander, cumin, turmeric, and salt. Set aside for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a handi over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add the marinated chicken to the handi. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cover the handi and let the chicken cook on low heat for 20 minutes until tender.

Stir in garam masala and adjust seasoning. Cook for another 5 minutes.
