Directions

Step 1

Heat ghee in a pan and fry bread slices until golden brown on both sides. Drain excess ghee on paper towels.

Step 2

Boil milk with sugar, cardamom, and saffron until it reduces to a thick rabri consistency. Stir continuously to avoid burning.

Step 3

Dip fried bread slices in sugar syrup for a few minutes.

Step 4

Place the soaked bread on a serving plate.

Step 5

Pour warm rabri over the bread evenly.

Step 6

Garnish with chopped almonds and serve chilled or at room temperature.
