Directions

Step 1

Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Set aside to drain.

In a small bowl, soak saffron in 2 tablespoons of warm water.

Let it steep for 10 minutes.

In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add almonds and pistachios, stirring until lightly toasted.
