Directions

Step 1

Marinate the chicken with yogurt, garlic, ginger, salt, and half of the saffron. Set aside for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and sauté until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Add cumin, coriander, and garam masala to the same pan. Stir for a minute.

Blend the sautéed onions with figs into a fine paste. Add this paste to the pan.

Add the marinated chicken to the pan. Cook until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
