  1. amazing things are happening here with beer in india, a city called bangalore, pls visit if you can.
    cheers

  2. The sort of crystal malt driven red/amber/brown ale is probably a long term favourite of mine. But really, it depends on the occasion. A nice, fruity aromatic new world pale ale always goes down well in summer. But in winter I tend to crave a richer beer, like a strong Belgium abbey style beer, a doppelbock or even a Hefeweizen dunkel. The there is the rare joy of a good lambic, or even a sour ale. And beef stewed in stout is surely a strong contender against that perennial winter favourite beef bourguignon!

  3. here in montreal quebec, we have craft beer game pretty syrong, expeimental ipa's glutenberg, gluten free beer. fantastic. check it out!

  4. my favorite is karlsberg ur-pils. A bit stronger in flavour then normal Pilsen, winner of the German ecological award (beeing a commercial brand it isnt too bad) and surely no hangover proofed by myself 🙂

  5. Oh Jamie, the best beers comes from Poland! Come to Wrocław, I live next to the "101 beers" shop where You can try vairous species from around the world in good prices. Plenty of local breweries, worth trying! I love my country for great beer and food(kiełbasa, ribs, dumplings, golonka, tatar!!!)

  6. I think we really should search for some other name for that drinks. Vodka isn't Gin and the same goes with this "beers". I´ve been in UK for quite a time and you don´t get Beer there. There are some good alcoholic drinks ("beers") but you can´t call them beer. I know technically it is but it hurts my bavarian soul

  7. The craft beer industry has exploded here in the states in recent years. My god, soo many to choose from and lot's of breweries looking to push the boundaries of of what beer could taste like.

  8. How can you attack soft drinks but promote alcohol?
I know why… Because in reality you don't care about anyone's health and attacking alcohol is suicide.
You know that you are almost redundant in the chef world and are trying to stay in the picture,
You attacking sugary drinks to push a new pointless tax for the Gov, and in return paying you to ''teach'' kids in schools out of the money raised,
I really think you should disclose how much you are set to benefit by this law coming in.
Tell people now before we can legally file a freedom of information request.

People who think I am crazy… Just wait……. Why do you think he went and got an official diploma?
Because you need one to teach

  9. If you get a chance, in Canada we've got some great microbreweries – in a lot of cases now they're being bought by the big brewers, but allowed to keep everything intact. Just way more funding to play with flavours and combinations.
