Soy Sauce Noodles:
Ingredients:
Spaghetti 4 oz
Broccoli 1 cup
Cauliflower 1 cup
Carrots 3
Minced garlic 1 clove
Olive oil 4 tbsp
Tofu (cubed) 8 oz
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Tahini 2 tbsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Lemon 1
Method:
Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil and add the garlic. Sauté garlic before adding the vegetables, season the vegetables with salt and pepper. Set aside. Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil in the pan and add the tofu once the oil is heated. Season the tofu with salt and pepper and cook until it is golden brown. Add the cooked spaghetti, vegetables and tofu to a bowl and mix everything together. Whisk together the soy sauce, tahini and red chili flakes before pouring the mixture over the noodle mixture. Divide the noodles into bowls and top them with a sprinkle of red chili flakes and a squeeze of lemon.
Dark Cookie Brownies:
Ingredients
Chopped chocolate 2 ounces
Sugar 7 tbsp
Egg 1
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Flour ¼ cup
Baking powder ¼ tsp
Milk 2 tbsp
Salt a pinch
Chopped chocolate cookies 6
For Frosting:
Butter 3 tbsp
Icing sugar ¾ cup
Vanilla essence ¼ tsp
Crushed chocolate cookies 3
Method:
Melt butter and chopped chocolate Stir in the sugar and vanilla essence, then let cool. In a small bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture, stirring a few times before adding the egg and milk. Mix together well until flour is no longer visible in the batter. Pour into the greased loaf pan and bake at 180 degrees C for 25 minutes. To make the frosting, beat together all ingredients except for the cookies until light and fluffy. Finally, stir in the crushed cookies. When completely cool, frost the brownies and serve.
Creamed Steak:
Ingredients
Steaks (strips) 2
Chopped onion 1
Minced garlic 2 cloves
Parsley 1-1/2 tsp
Salt ¼ tsp
Dried basil leaves 1 tsp
Dried oregano leaves 1 tsp
Ginger ½ tsp
Cream 1 cup
Shredded parmesan cheese ½ cup
Shredded cheddar cheese ½ cup
Sliced mushrooms 2 large
Minced pickle 2 large
Butter 4 tbsp
Method:
Saute onion and mushrooms in butter until slightly browned. Add steak strips & salt & cook until browned. Add all the spices and mix until combined. Add the cream, pickles, parmesan cheese, and cheddar cheese& mix until combined. Turn heat down to simmer and cover. Let simmer for 10-15 minutes, until cream has reduced and sauce has thickened.
Serve steak cream sauce over a bed of cooked spinach and serve with mash or a jacket potato.
