Sada Dosa is an all-time favourite to most of us, and with this recipe, you can make it super easily at home.
SADA DOSA
Ingredients
2 cups parboiled rice
1 cup kolam rice
½ cup split skinless black gram (dhuli urad dal)
1 tsp fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
2 tbsps split skinless Bengal gram (dhuli chana dal)
Salt to taste
1 tbsp split skinless pigeon pea (dhuli tuvar dal)
Oil for drizzling
Tomato-onion chutney to serve
Method
1. In individual bowls, add parboiled rice,kolam rice, uraddal, fenugreek seeds,chana dal, salt, tuvardaland soak overnight or for at least 10 hours.
2. Add salt and grind to a fine paste. Let the batter ferment for 10 hours.
3. Heat a non-stick tawa, add ladleful of batter and spread it evenly to make a thin disc. Drizzle a little oil on top and sides. Cook till the base is cooked completely.
4. Fold the dosa in half and transfer to a serving plate. Serve hot with tomato-onion chutney.
