- Finely chopped walnuts 2cups
- Sugar 2cups
- Khoya 1cup
- Oil 1cup
- Small cardamoms 8
- Fried semolina 1/2cup
- Slivered almonds and pistachios as required
- Heat oil in a wok and fry small cardamoms.
- When the aroma is given off add chopped and peeled walnuts.
- Fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Then add 1 cup khoya, sugar and fried semolina.
- Cook for a further 5-10 minutes.
- Grease a tray and spread the halwa.
- Sprinkle the khoya and slivered pistachios and almonds on top.
