Undercut slices 1/2 kg
Salt 1/2 tsp
White pepper 1/2 tsp
Egg 1
Soya sauce 1 tbsp
Corn flour 2 tbsp
Capsicum cubes 1
Chopped carrot 1
Chopped onion 1
Cabbage 8 oz
Chopped green onion 1
Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
Soya sauce 1/4 cup
Hoision sauce 2 tbsp
Oyster sauce 2 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Vinegar 2 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
White pepper 1/2 tsp
Stock 1 cup
Corn flour 1 tbsp


Mariante undercut with salt, white pepper, 2 tbsp corn flour, soya sauce and egg and deep fry it.
Now heat oil and put garlic.
Then add remaining ingredients.
When it boils, put 1 tbsp corn flour paste.
Now put fried undercut and take it out.

Sausage & courgette kebabs

Ask your grown-up helper to turn the oven to 200C/ 180C fan/gas 6. Cut the courgette and pepper into chunks with a knife or scissors (or ask your grown-up). Cut each sausage into 3 or 4 pieces with your scissors (or ask your grown-up to do this). Push the wooden sticks through the cherry tomatoes, peppers, courgettes and pieces of sausage in any order, making sure the pointy end is facing away from you. Brush your skewers with olive oil and put in a baking dish. Ask your grown-up helper to put them in the oven for 20 mins or until the veg are soft and the sausage cooked.

Easy chicken pie

Heat the grill. Fry the onion and chicken in the oil for 5-10 mins until the onion is soft and the chicken golden. Pour over the stock, bring to the boil, then simmer for 20 mins until the chicken is cooked. Stir in the corn, then 3 tbsp crème fraîche and the herbs. Meanwhile, boil potatoes until soft. Drain and mash with remaining crème fraîche. Spoon the chicken mix into 4 pie dishes and top with mash. Place on a baking tray, then grill until potato is golden.

Minted lamb & pea stew

Toss the lamb in the flour. Heat half the oil in a large pan, then brown the lamb over a high heat for 2 mins. Transfer to a plate, then add the rest of the oil, shallots, leeks, carrot and potatoes to the pan. Fry for a few mins until starting to soften. Pour over the stock, scraping up any meaty bits, then simmer for 10 mins until the veg are almost cooked. Tip the lamb into the pan with the peas, then simmer for 4 mins or until the lamb is just cooked and the veg are tender. Scatter with mint to serve.
