    • Butter 3 ounces
    • Egg 1 beaten
    • Onion 2 large (cut into rounds)
    • Brinjal 2 (cut into rounds)
    • Tomatoes 2 (cut into slices)
    • Potatoes 3 (cut in rounds)
    • Roasted mince ½ kg
    • Cheddar cheese ½ cup (grated)
    • Oil 2 tbsp
    • Coriander leaves as required
    • For white sauce:
    • Milk 1 cup
    • Water 1 cup
    • Salt ½ tsp
    • Black pepper ½ tsp
    • Mustard powder ½ tsp
    • Butter 2 tbsp
    • Flour 2 tbsp

Heat butter and oil. Now fry onion for 2-3 minutes, remove and keep aside. In the same butter and oil fry brinjal slices, remove and keep aside. Then fry potatoes till tender, remove and keep aside.

For white sauce:

In a pan, put butter, flour, milk, water, salt, black pepper, mustard and cook, stirring till turn into thick form. To Assemble: Grease a dish, arrange a layer of potatoes and brinjals. Top with roasted mince, then onion and slice tomatoes. Now pour white sauce. Spread with beaten egg. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Lastly dot with butter and bake on 180 degree C for 20 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
