  4. In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set. The centers may look slightly undercooked.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
