Ingredients

  • Moong daal 250 gm (soaked)
  • Gram flour 4 – 5 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 2 tsp
  • Carom seeds a pinch
  • Baking powder 3 tsp
  • Green chilies 10 – 15
  • Coriander 1 bunch (chopped)
  • Onions 2 – 3 (chopped)
  • Oil for frying

Cooking Directions

  1. Wash and rinse moong daal and get rid of all the water.
  2. Then grind the daal along with gram flour, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, carom seeds and baking powder.
  3. Once a paste is formed, add onion, green chilies and coriander to the mixture.
  4. Form small balls and fry on medium flame.
