Instructions

  1. Heat a large, oven-safe skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  2. Add the hash browns to the skillet, spreading them out evenly. Cook for 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy on one side.
  3. Flip the hash browns and cook for another 5 minutes until crispy on the other side. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the hash browns.
  5. Make four small wells in the hash browns and crack an egg into each well.
