Ingredients:

1/4 cup butter, softened
1 pound loaf of bread, halved lengthwise
4 ounces cheese, shredded
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

Method:

Smear butter over cut sides of bread.
Then place on an ungreased baking sheet.
In a bowl, combine the cheese, oregano and garlic salt; and sprinkle over bread.
Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes
Serve warm.
