Beef 1/2 kg
Sela rice 1/2 kg
Onion 1
Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
White pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Coconut milk 1/2 cup
Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
Stock 1/2 liter
Lemon leaf 2-3
Curry powder 1 tbsp
Spring onion 1-2
Oil 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
For Ginger Sauce:
Ginger 1 inch
Red chilies 3-4
Cloves 3-4
Vinegar 2 tbsp
Fish sauce 1 tbsp


For ginger sauce: Put all ingredients in blender, blend it and keep it aside.
For beef: Wash rice and leave for 2 hours.
Now heat oil in pan and fry garlic and onion.
When color changes, put ginger sauce, coconut milk, salt, curry powder, cinnamon and white pepper and cook it.
Then add lemon leaf, stock and rice and cook until rice cooks and meat tender.
Now take out in dish, garnish with ginger slices and serve.

Fried Cinnamon Strips

Combine sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large resealable plastic bag. Seal and toss to mix. Heat oil in deep-fryer or deep skillet to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Fry 4 or 5 tortilla strips for 30 seconds on a side, until golden brown.
