Beef 1 kg
Yogurt 375 gm
Oil 1 cup
Fried onions 1 cup
Chopped ginger as required
Bay leaves 1
Cardamom 6
Kewra essence few drops
Cumin 1 tsp
Whole black pepper 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Mace powder 1/2 tsp
Cream of tartar 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Coconut powder 2 tbsp
Red chili powder 1-1/2 tsp


Grind cumin, black pepper, coconut and mace in grinder.
Now take it out in bowl, put turmeric, salt, chili powder, coriander, bay leaves, tartar and kewra essence and mix it nicely.
Then mix in meat, yogurt and onions and leave for 30 minutes.
Then heat oil, put meat, cover it and leave it for 30 minutes.
When meat tender, add water.
When 2-3 boils come, put ginger and green chilies as required and serve.
