  • Fresh coriander, mint leaves, fried onions, green chilies, and lemon wedges (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Lentils and Grains

In a large pot, boil the soaked wheat, barley, and lentils with 4 cups of water until soft. Blend into a smooth paste and set aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Beef

Heat oil or ghee in a deep pot. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes. Add beef, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the beef is tender.

Step 3: Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked lentil-grain paste to the beef mixture. Stir well, adding water to achieve the desired consistency. Cover and simmer on low heat for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally to avoid sticking.

Mix in garam masala and cook for another 15 minutes. Adjust seasoning as needed.
