Directions

Step 1

Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Combine with water in a rice cooker and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Arrange tofu, kabocha cubes, and shiso leaves along one edge of the rice. Roll tightly using the mat, applying gentle pressure to form a firm roll.

Slice the roll into bite-sized pieces using a sharp knife. Serve with additional soy sauce and wasabi if desired.
