Turkish Iskender Kebab Recipe in Urdu





    Cooking Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
    2. Arrange pita bread on a baking sheet and lightly toast in the oven.
    3. Cut pita bread into bite-size pieces and keep warm.
    4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
    5. Stir in the chicken, onion, and garlic, and cook until chicken juices run clear.
    6. Mix in tomato puree.
    7. Season with cumin, salt and pepper.
    8. Continue cooking 10 minutes.
    9. Arrange pita pieces in a serving dish.
    10. Drizzle with butter and top with the chicken mixture.
    11. Garnish with yogurt and parsley to serve.

    4 Pita bread rounds
    1 tbsp Olive oil
    4 Chicken breast halves (skinless, boneless, chopped)
    2 Onion medium (chopped)
    1 Garlic clove (minced)
    1 can Tomato puree (10.75 oz)
    to taste Cumin (ground)
    to taste Salt
    to taste Black pepper (ground)
    ½ cup ( Butter melted)
    1 cup Yogurt
    ¼ cup Fresh parsley (chopped)
