Directions

Step 1

Clean the fish and marinate it with turmeric powder and salt. Set aside for 15 minutes.

Grind mustard seeds with water to make a smooth paste. Mix with yogurt, red chili powder, and salt.

Heat oil in a pan. Fry the marinated fish until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.

In the same oil, add sliced onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until onions are translucent.

Add the mustard-yogurt mixture to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.

Step 6

Gently place the fried fish into the gravy. Simmer for 10 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
