Directions

Step 1

Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, chop the onion, tomato, garlic, and carrot into small pieces.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until golden brown. Add chicken pieces and cook until lightly seared.

Step 3

Add tomato and carrot to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Season with salt and preferred spices.

Step 4

Drain the rice and add it to the pan with 400 ml of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover for 20 minutes.

Step 5

Turn off the heat and let it rest covered for 10 minutes.

Step 6

Fluff the rice gently with a fork and serve the platter warm, garnished with herbs.
