Directions

Step 1

Boil the potatoes until soft, then peel and mash them. Grate the paneer and mix with the potatoes. Add salt and shape into small balls.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pan and fry the kofta balls until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, add finely chopped onions and sauté until translucent. Add minced ginger and garlic, and cook until fragrant.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften. Stir in turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala.

Pour in the coconut milk and bring to a simmer. Add salt to taste.

Step 6

Gently add the fried koftas to the curry.

Simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 8

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
