Mutanjun Recipe in Urdu





    Cooking Directions

    1. Soak the rice for on hour.
    2. Take a large skillet and put the rice with fresh water, cloves and cardamoms, When 3cm-4cm of water is left strain the rice.
    3. In the same skillet add oil, yogurt, cloves and cardamoms.
    4. When the oil forms a separate layer on top add the ginger garlic paste and chicken.
    5. In the meantime take a bowl and add the rice, sugar, colored petha and milk.
    6. Mix well and put the rice in the chicken mixture.
    7. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

    1/2kg Boneless chicken
    2 ½ cups Rice
    1/2tbsp Ginger garlic paste
    10 Small cardamom
    6 Cloves
    15 Almonds (boiled)
    20 Pistachio (boiled)
    as required Coloured petha
    2 ½ cups Sugar
    1/1/2 cup Oil
