Directions

Step 1

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until softened. Stir in soaked basmati rice.

Pour in water, ensuring it covers the rice by one inch. Bring to boil and simmer until rice is cooked.

Sprinkle saffron dissolved in a little water over the rice.

Step 7

Garnish with fried onions and serve hot.
