Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, marinate chicken with yogurt, ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, and saffron for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Cook rice in boiling water until 70% done. Drain and set aside.

Step 3

Fry onions in a deep pan until golden brown. Remove half for garnish.

Step 4

Add marinated chicken to the pan and cook until chicken is fully cooked.

Step 5

Layer half of the rice over the chicken, sprinkle fried onions and green chili.

Step 6

Layer the remaining rice, cover, and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.

Step 7

Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
