Directions

Step 1

Marinate chicken with coriander, mint, green chili paste, yogurt, ginger, and garlic. Let it sit for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Rinse and soak rice for 20 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Step 3

Fry onions in a pan until golden brown. Remove and set aside for garnish.

Step 4

In a large pot, cook the marinated chicken until tender.

Step 5

In another pot, boil rice with salt and whole spices until 70% cooked. Drain excess water.

Step 6

Layer chicken and rice in a pot.

Step 7

Sprinkle garam masala and fried onions.

Step 8

Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
