Directions

Step 1

In a large karahi or wok, heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, stir until aromatic.

Add chicken pieces, cook until lightly browned on all sides.

Add chopped tomatoes and green chilies. Stir well and cover the pan. Cook until tomatoes soften.

Step 4

Add coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.

Step 5

Cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 6

Uncover and cook until oil separates from the masala and the chicken is tender.

Step 7

Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with chopped coriander and julienned ginger. Serve hot.
