Directions

Step 1

Marinate chicken with yogurt, garlic, ginger, salt, and half of the spices. Set aside for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Fry onions in oil until golden brown. Remove half and set aside.

Step 3

In the same pan, add marinated chicken and cook until the chicken is tender.

Step 4

Cook rice with remaining spices until half done. Drain water and set aside.

Step 5

Layer cooked chicken and rice in a pot.

Step 6

Sprinkle saffron and fried onions on top.

Step 7

Seal the pot and cook on low heat for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
