Directions

Step 1

Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear. Soak for 30 minutes, then drain.

In a large pot, heat oil and fry the onions until golden brown. Remove half for garnish.

Add ginger and garlic to the pot, sauté until fragrant. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned.

Boil the soaked rice in salted water until partially cooked, then layer over the chicken in the pot.
